Plus Surgery is still primarily a male dominated world. It is really really hard to build a relationship as a female rep when most of your Docs they are married males. The biggest Docs for my specialty all have all ended up being friends in and out of work. We hang out on weekends, my wife is friends with their wives and we even go on vacations with our families. As a female that is next to impossible to do.

I would agree with that. The one girl I know that sold in surgery just married one of her surgeon customers.
But luckily I don't sell into the OR, except if they choose to bring my product in there, in which case I don't need to be there.
