Yeah they're the must cut throat of all I believe.

Back when I was there if you went two years in a row without achieving 20% yearly growth you were let go, not sure if that still applies but I highly doubt it in this healthcare environment. GE Medical has/had a similar structure. From what I've heard, Intuitive Surgical (they have the da Vinci robotic systems) is right up there and they churn through reps like crazy, although successful ones are well-compensated. Same company culture as Stryker- Scottsdale friend there played football at Stanford and verifies this- and he tells me one of the local reps pulled in almost $1 million a couple of years ago. Tons of pressure go with it and it's not for everyone.
