Bernie Sanders on NPR this morning (ACA repeal)

Point 1:
The Republicans aren't letting moderate Republicans or Democrats see the new health care amendments! We have no idea what's in there!
Point 2:
This new plan rips insurance away from 23 million citizens, and provides $2 trillion in tax cuts to the most wealthy. This is the worst piece of legislation I have seen during all of my years practicing congressional politics.
So which is it Bernie?
You say 'you have not seen' the legislation AND that it's 'the worst legislation you've ever seen.'
Sounds like ol' Bernie Sanderstein is using hyperbole...shocking.
I wonder if he remembers chanting 'here, there, everywhere, yanks must die' in Central America back in his younger days?

Dude is senile. Forever greatful to the DNC for rigging their primary

23 million citizens,
Been debunked on NPR previously. 16 of those only have insurance due to the penalty.
I'm sure the hosts of impeccable integrity made certain to correct that fallacy.

He pulls his numbers from the CBO analysis of the House-passed version of AHCA.
Rumors/leaks are that the Senators are making it worse.
They refuse to release the bill, or even discuss it with anyone outside of the group of 13 Republican Senators.
So he's right on both counts.

He's wrong that 23 are losing insurance.

So no words about resistance from old Bern?

So which of his houses did "the man of the people" make his comments from?
Or was it from his $170k Audi R8?

Not true. The moderates are the ones running the show. Conservatives like Rand Paul have been repeatedly excluded from health care discussions on the hill.

A bill so bad that it can't be shared or debated openly

Didnt he get kicked out of a commune for being lazy?

Get real. Dems aren't interested in debate.
They weren't interested in debate when they forced the bill on Americans and they aren't interested in it now. They simply don't deserve a place at the table on this one.

Hey, they aren't just hiding it from Dems. You seem alright with having an unseen, unscored, no-debate bill forced down your throat, so I won't hold it against you

I thought Obamacare was bad? Do you want another one?

That's exactly what Dems did to pass the aca. You seemed fine with it then, so what's changed?
The first step is to stop pretending like you are interested in a constructive debate about health insurance in america. Letting dems in only guarantees chaos and obstruction. The second step is to accept the fact that you screwed yourself out of a seat at the table when you went scorched earth on the aca. You didn't gaf about what the people thought of aca then, so you can't really complain now. Step three: move to London.

Nothing's changed. That's the fricking point! "Just like Obamacare" is my favorite new line here
