Too many to have an undisputed #1, but since I was a kid this guy still gets my vote. Just perfect in every way.

Ronnie Van Zant was right to idolize him-Hell, the Skynyrd we know today wouldn't be the same without Free.

Roger Daltrey suits my taste probably better than anyone. I'm really not a fan of high pitched male vocals.

There are so many that I appreciate and enjoy listening to.

Some that immediately come to mind are Layne Staley especially when Jerry Cantrell is also singing. Their voices blended so well with the mood of the music it was a beautiful thing at one time.

I also have to mention Chris Cornell with Audioslave. They made some great music as well.

My runner ups would be:
> Bon Scott. Incredible vocals for a raw rock and roll band from Down Under.

> And my high school favorite is Bruce Dickinson for my younger years. When I hear Aces High I can picture myself in that Spitfire diving down on the German bombers.
