I hope to pay $250 a ticket to sit in the rafters and be lectured by Bono about how I am ruining the environment and not contributing to the poor enough from my salary right before he collects his million dollar check and jets off in his private plane.

I saw them in Soldier Field 13 days ago. This is a completely unfair criticism of U2. We had floor tickets for literally $55 apiece. U2 worked with TicketMaster to prevent any scalping of the floor tickets - there were absolutely no transfers or resales allowed. I didn't even get tickets - I had to enter by swiping the same credit card I used to purchase the ducats.

The nosebleeds for this tour are as cheap as $35 per seat. Only the VIP and absolute premium club seats are over $250.

They still push left-wing shite subtly - between the Lumineers and U2 there was a solid hour of anti-white man quotes (oppression of Indians, Hispanics, Muslims, etc) that scrolled on the big screen. They had only left-wing figures on the screen during their tribute to women (including Hillary Clinton, that annoying Maliya Muslim chick, and fricking Lena Dunham) while they played "Ultra Violet".

They also had pro-Islamic propaganda - a video from this hijab'd girl in a refugee camp. Then they made fun of Trump in the leadup to "Exit".

The cool part though was that their pro-Islam shite fell largely flat (even in liberal Chicago and with their liberal fanbase) because the Islamic terror attack in London had just occurred hours earlier.

Was worth the time and money for sure - especially if you can get floor tickets for the good price.

Interesting fact - U2's 1997 Popmart show in the SuperDome was likely the most poorly attended U2 concert in their history. Only sold like 18,000 tickets. Was my first U2 show.

If you get floor seats - just show up during the opening act. Lots of hardcore fans queue outside for hours upon hours but we still got pretty close without being overly pushy. Go to the right side of the floor, not the left (which is less roomy due to the mixing board and VIP section). I had read tips on the U2 fan boards and we were standing right next to the VIP zone for 1/10th the price and we got there at 8PM more than halfway through Lumineers set (those people standing on the black platform are in the VIP section - the only advantage they had was their floor was sloped slightly up giving short people a better view).

I went to the show in Miami and it was kind of meh. I saw the original Joshua Tree tour when it came to Baton Rouge, which was awesome, and I saw zoo tv and pop mart in Houston. The crowd at this show kind of sucked. Half the crowd taking selfies, posting on Facebook and recording the set on their phones instead of actually watching the show might have had something to do with that. It was ridiculous.

Jesus, that's a propaganda fest. Glad The Cure doesn't do all that bullshite. They just play for 3-3.5 hours with about 20 words spoken the entire time.

I did floor in Dallas a few weeks ago. Lumineers were the opener.

Got a seat in Loge for NOLA.
