That's not true. The federal government has so many laws that literally no one is completely innocent. We all unknowingly commit multiple felonies per day. The purpose of that is to create a dragnet where the government has leverage over all of us. Since everyone is guilty of something, they can hold investigations and charges over the heads of any dissident they wish to threaten into silence. The real guilty ones go free, because they're inside the system, or because there's not enough resources made available to investigate them. All the resources are tied up targeting political enemies of the deep state.
