At least in those videos, Williams has a lot more energy, and appeared to be more effective than Naz. Naz is a lot bigger but I hope he can improve on his conditioning/energy.
Keep in mind this is Emmitt's highlight reel not Naz's. I'm sure if you watched the full tape or both of their highlights from the game it would seem more balanced.
That being said, what I get from that video is that Emmitt has a Russell Westbrook type of grit and anger that has me pumped as opposed to being worried about Naz's motor. Watch the 'Road Game' workouts from this summer. I'm not worried about a Will Wade team's conditioning.

The knock on him has always been energy. After a year with Wade he will either going to get it together or he will be another Brandon Sampson. If he buys in, we will be scary.

It, but about the smart/Mays starting debate: Wade says Mays will be a starter as long as he and Mays are at LSU together
Posted on 3/15/18 at 3:47 pm to bugafor6
Mays is solid now. With another offseason in the program I think he’ll be damn good next year.

Mays is a good all around player. He still needs to get better at finishing at the basket, though. If he can do that, he will be a solid player for a much improved LSU next season.

What does this have to do with a recruiting thread?
Posted on 3/16/18 at 1:14 am to tomcat4
You know, sometimes when there is no news in 3 months topics start going a tad astray. It's not like we're talking about baseball in here.

Is javonte smart not a recruit?

It's like he just realized he can jump high in the last 3 games. When he attacks the rim he seems so much better. I still don't want him with the ball in his hands in the last 2 minutes.

His stats increased across the board in year two. Only thing that didn’t was assist, and that bc he played off ball. It still only dropped by 0.6

Wade said he spoke to potential incoming transfers on Thursday.

I guess Kiir is getting shown the door? Who else would it be?
Posted on 3/17/18 at 6:53 pm to GeorgeTheGreek
He and Alexander have been off the team for a while now. Wade said Kiir might rejoin the team, but I doubt that happens
Posted on 3/17/18 at 8:20 pm to bugafor6
RIght but I’m assuming he’s done.

Who saw what Worsham tweeted about the possibility of getting a Pitt transfer?

I don't know if I'd want anyone from a team that was winless in 2018 Although Jared was their best player

You are correct this thread has started going astray. One comes to this thread for basketball recruiting information not BS conversation.
Posted on 3/18/18 at 12:28 am to tomcat4
How Smart will impact the starting rotation is still consistent with the thread.
If your feeble brain can't handle the small talk I suggest another hobby outside of Tigerdroppings, cretin.

He was definitely not their best player, he was a volume scorer similar to Onwuasor, very low FG% and 3pt. He has good size at 6'5 220, but their best player by far was the forward Ryan Luther who averaged a double double.
Pitt sucked because their team consisted of Luther who was really good and a bunch of below average to bad players.

We need another solid 3 guard. Depth everywhere else should be solid.
PG- Waters/Smart
SG- Mays/Smart
SG/SF- Sampson/Edwards/Days
PF- Reid/Williams/Rachal/Sims/Days
C- Bigby-Williams/Reid
Could be a really deep team.
