I was planning on just going into the plywood. It's not like tv's are super heavy nowadays.
Not sure I want to the ceiling mount either.
Here is where it will mount. Not that little TV, getting a real man size one

You should be able to find a stud 16" to 24" off of that corner. Go from there. Read jojothetireguys' post as well.
