yes.
social media has brought out the narcissistic personality of MANY people.
Look at the twitter, instagram, facebook, snapchat posts and what it is ALL about:
This is how great my life is. Whether its food/fancy restaurants, going out, vacations, etc. IM SO GREAT I GOT A 4.0!!! Its never: I failed my test.
People are so glued to their phones to update the world about their lives that they feel some kind of self importance in terms of how they have to show off.
