unless it's the Indy 500 nobody watches indycars.

They've been a fringe series for the last 20 years.

It's a shame, since the racing tends to be competitive in IndyCar.

That's what I want to understand. Why would people flock to a NASCAR race but not go to a race with more exciting, faster racing at the same exact track?
