Obviously, check to make sure your connections are good and there is no short in the wiring. Also, test all 3 of your batteries for internal shorts. If that is all good then you may want to upgrade to a 60A that is compatible with a 36VDC system. Minn Kota makes one that can be found for around 30 bucks online. MKR-19 circuit breaker

On a side note, does it matter that a 24VDC rated breaker is in a 36VDC system???

The MKR-19 appears to be a definite improvement over the breaker that I currently have. I'll be swapping mine out next time I head to the camp. Thanks for the tip.
