Sure, but in the late 80s and early 90s, there was also talk that Drexler was the better player. The idea that Jordan was even in the neighborhood of his current status back then is balogna.

ETA: Not that Drexler was better than Jordan straight up, but that Drexler was going to get a championship before Jordan. Shouldn't have phrased it the way I did originally.

Nobody thought Drexler was better than Jordan, they always thought of Drexler as the 2nd best player.
