No clue how anyone can think today's brand is worse than that abomination.


Not to mention, the Lakers won 3 straight in that time with a 15-1 playoff record in 1 postseason. Maybe it was the internet/social media age wasn't like it is today, but I don't recall people complaining about super teams then.

Your definition of a "super team" is different than what the posters your arguing with is.
Most people don't complain about balance w/ organically constructed teams (like GS was b4 Durant) & many others historically who drafted well &/or signed reclamation projects who rejuvenated their careers

For ex, the 2000 Lakers SF was Rick Fox, PG Derek Fisher & PF 35 yr old Ho Grant. The only 2 all stars in their prime were Kobe/Shaq, & Kobe was drafted via trade b4 he was KOBE. 2010's F/A collusion is not the same, & you know it
