I think it's hilarious that some of the same people who decry Castro as having been a vicious tyrant have no problem with a similar leader in Putin simply because he's a hard right authoritarian.
It shows how incredibly shallow their supposed concern for human rights remains.

Some of us don't like Putin, but find it hilarious that politicians and uniparty supporters in this country cry out for human rights when it comes to Putin but have little concern for supporting Saudi Arabia, the Gulf States and other dictatorships, while also supporting a foreign policy that is responsible for the loss of hundreds of thousands of civilian lives since 2002.
