Fresno St had a great offense that year #6 scoring offense in the country(38 ppg). Fresno scored 4 more than their season average against USC
In 2004 Stanford scored 6 more than their average(22 ppg) vs USC

They finished 4th place in the wac. Idaho and Hawaii held them to less points than USC did.
