He got the better player this year, but I bet if he realized the picks he would have negotiated it down to a 2nd which might make more sense for a 31 year old on that roster.
NBD though. I'd live with it too in Deebz's position.

Ain't trying to pull one over on ya.
Like Tom said, we've had bad experiences with ESPN with notes not being included in trade proposals for whatever reason.
If you want it back, yeh that's fine. Let me know.

Trade notes won't ever show on the app. Gotta use desktop
And picks don't need to be even. Like someone said, when we cut down rosters you just cut however many guys equal to your number of picks

So if I have 7 draft picks, do I have to cut 7 players? Or can I choose to forfeit the worst 2 picks in order to keep my already owned players?

surely you can forfeit the worst picks

There’s just so many ways to handle it
1. Forfeit the picks
2. Only force managers to cut 5 players. If they have more than 5 Draft picks, there is a secondary cut date to trim the roster to the 20 man minimum.
3. Don’t cut players prior to the draft. Let everyone draft their players and cut down to a hard 20 on a single set date
ETA- I had the mindset that free agents would play a larger role in the rookie/FA draft. They don’t. Oliver and Lynch were the only non rookies in my 5 round 14 team Draft this year. They really aren’t a factor

Forfeiting picks sounds like the easiest. Shouldn't make this more complicated than it has to be.

This is I do it in my Dynasty League. However many guys you draft, that's how many you have to cut that night (if you want to add those guys to your roster).

I had just assumed that you could forfeit the latest picks if you didn't want to give up the players, but after seeing those options laid out, I might like just moving the cuts until after the draft.
I don't remember if this stuff was explicitly laid out when we put together the rules. I think it might have been touched on to some extent in the rules that Gyno typed up.

Yes you can forfeit the picks. We will allow eceyone to do this prior to the draft - you'll cut as many players as picks you want to use

Who woulda have thunk I'd regret dropping a 4th string rookie RB who was inactive the first 3 weeks of the season.

We're still yet to see if there's really anything to regret. It's still just 12 yards and 1 td.
