Lots of people wear boots with suits. It mostly depends on the style of the boot and the style of the suit.

I wear mine to work almost everyday in Nashville. Also, office is very casual so I rock jeans most days. Wear Chelsea boots if I have to dress it up

Meh. I don't care much when guys do it.
I had an owner of a service company who is probably worth $5 million or so show up in Nola in his boots and hat to negotiate a deal. Probably wouldn't have bothered me much, but he was a prick so the hat and boots combo annoyed me.
