According to a more detailed police report issued Tuesday afternoon, both tires on the driver's side of Woods' car were flat at the time of his arrest and there was damage to the front and rear bumpers

From Op's link. So sounds like he was crashing around while awake or fell asleep at the wheel.

Hardly sounds like he just started driving and then said, "I better pull over."

Reminds me of Leonardo DiCaprio trying to drive home in Wolf of wall street

Glad to hear it. I don't think anyone was excited when they heard he was arrested for DUI.

i have nothing personal against him but i've been popped a for a DUI before.

Also there is something to be said about intent. Its one thing to go get smashed and get behind the wheel. Its another entirely to have an unexpected reaction to medication.

Intent has nothing to do with it. He should have realized he was in an altered state and not driven.
He could have just as easily killed someone on the road.
