A strong case could be made for that Iraq War drive. The Bush administration / RNC had a whole building set up for disinformation and to attack anyone who voiced opposition. There were so many people who chose to believe government who were just disillusioned.

I had a close neighbor who was as liberal as they come who totally bought into it.
