yes, he did and with a 3 run lead that's normal to give the D a chance to make an out or two. but he needs his curveball to be who he is. and i did not see even one strike with one. he hit the batter with one and walked a batter with one.

i seriously doubt a pitcher knows he doesn't have his pitch when he enters the game. sometimes you throw them fine in warm ups in the pen. the game is different.
