okay, the books of the bible i've been quoting were writing circa 1920 years give or take a century.

You mean the translations, right? Bible translators don't start from scratch and make up the bible off the top of their head as they go when they come up with a new translation. They read the manuscripts written in Hebrew and Greek and attempt to translate those words into whatever modern language they are working on. It's why seminaries typically require students to pass classes in both languages before graduating, so they can read the original languages to understand the nuances of the texts that our translations may not pick up on due to things being lost in translation.

well you mentioned two facts then starting laughing like you just had a gotcha moment. It didn't really make sense because the original texts were most likely in Greek. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt and assume your "gotcha" involved the date which was also incorrect because the actual writing down took place a while after Jesus the historical figure walked the Earth.
