Exactly. Lincoln never gave a shite about the slaves or slavery. His "great" proclamation only freed slaves in territory under Confederate control. He had the opportunity to free the slaves that were in areas under Union control, but he didn't. The abolition of slavery for Lincoln was only a tool to control the South.
If you actually read Lincoln's own words, you will know that he only opposed letting the South leave the Union for financial reasons. He had no interest in the well-being of black people. The South generated the majority of income at the time. When asked if he would allow the South to leave, Lincoln said, "Who then would fill our coffers?"
It amazes me that people still think Lincoln was anything but a self-serving politician with dictatorial tendencies.

Wow you really are one of those people that's still pissed the south lost huh? I love your attempts to bad mouth the president who is commonly regarded as the greatest this country has ever had.

Sounds like BR vs. St George.

Lincoln's abhorrence to slavery is public record.
Going back to his very 1st proposed bill as Congressman to abolish slavery in D.C.
The man's record is near unassailable.
