Absolutely nothing is going to happen in the short term. This is simply Trump sabre rattling right back at Lil Kim trying to show him that the US won't just give in to whatever it is that he wants everytime they threaten us. Kim isn't going to do shite.

Now IF they actually do get extremely close to nuclear capability + means of delivery...then all bets are off. It would depend on the President's political policy. A regime like our previous one would favor diplomacy I'm sure, while the current one would likely favor military action.
