At L'Auberge Casino for illegal gambling and using a fake I.d.

Security video showed Fournette playing at a “craps table” for 16 minutes at about 1:30 p.m., before walking to the player’s services counter. Fournette then allegedly presented his real ID to the cashier for a cash withdrawal, who determined his age and contacted security. Fournette was detained at the casino, but left before an officer's arrival, police said. When being questioned, Fournette said he used another person's ID to enter the casino, according to police.

It wouldn't be a true summer unless somebody got arrested or kicked off the team I guess..

I know it's wrong but that petty of a crime they could have just gave him a warning

Agreed, and just made him leave and took the id. Kinda stupid on his part though. Should've known somebody would recognize him, being Leonard's brother and playing for LSU.

Stupid on his part, but something you can chalk up as a bad decision by a young college student. I think most can agree they've done stupid things in college. At least it's a nonviolent crime.

Agree 100% non-violent and not drug related.

Shades of Ryan Perrilloux.

Just a misdemeanor I would assume?

Yea probably just a small fine, if I'd have to guess.

such an overreach. should have just given him a warning and kicked him out
Posted on 5/23/17 at 5:55 am to eLeSyoU225
He's just a kid so I won't say what I really want to say.
I'll just say c'monnnnnn mannnnnnnnnnn
Be smarter than that!! You're bro is worth millions. Ask him for money if you need some cash

This is a trivial offense. Any talk of suspension is inappropriate here

Perrilloux can empathize...
If that was ALL Perrilloux had ever done he would have never been kicked off the team...

Personally find it absurd they arrested him for this. Cops should have better things to do than screw with a kid for something like this. Feels like there has to be more to the story or someone trying to prove a point.
