We got hot to end the year just like last season. The 15 games leading into the sec tournament left us with a 12-3 record last year and a 12-3 record this year.

The SEC officially recognizes Fla. & LSU as co-champions. The #1 designation is strictly for seeding purposes in the league tourney. I am glad that the seniors & those who came back & ignored the draft are getting SEC championship rings. For Fla. fans to try & make the distinction is understandable. For a few LSU fans...that makes no sense. Freeman, Lang, Robertson, Poche', et al, they will all be wearing their SEC league champions rings with pride as a well deserved reward. Not sure what the negatators will be doing.

Ok ok we are SEC champs, but we lost to UF so they get the tie break. I mean if we were tied with Bama for the SEC West but they beat us and go to SECCG are we gonna sit here and gloat we are SEC West Champs too?

Football names it conference championship on the field of play. It wasn't always like that, but it is now.
Baseball does it by the standings after 10 weekends of play.
Why is it's hard to understand?
Winning the West or the East means little or nothing except in football because you go to Atlanta if you win.
