Perhaps you thought Comey was politically neutral too?

Comey could have easily avoided the entire "embarrassing" moment of being seen in public shaking hands with President Trump and being "hugged" by President Trump if Comey had not attended the ceremonial meeting.
Why didn't Comey just do that?

Hm. I guess you must be right. His friend obviously meant that Comey literally believed that he was effectively camoflaged. So bizarre. Total nutjob.

No, no more than you or I would be in his role. I am of the opinion that he's executed his job with integrity, though. If he's a hard lib deep down, imagine being him and making the call to reopen the Hillary investigation knowing what it might mean for the election.
His alleged lib preferences are irrelevant anyway. I'd be disgusted of having a hug from Trump forced on me as well. And I'm a conservative. Who the frick does that to their subordinates anyway? And you want to talk about bizarre.
