Alternative idea - why not have Pap behind him?
He's shown he's one of the best on the team getting on base, so if they want to walk Deichmann, they are facing up another guy who knows how to work counts and get on base. Not to mention he probably has the 2nd best power on this team, giving that threat...wouldn't kill Pap to see a few more pitches, IMO.
