Does anyone know what in the world a "water feature" is
My guess is it'll be a statue of Mitch that randomly periodically spits onto the sidewalk at different angles so he can be spitting on to citizens of the city for eternity against there will. Once a year at the biggest night of Mardi Gras the statue will piss all over the circle to ensure everyone's fun is ruined and his legacy as an arse clown is cemented.

The swastika is the most badass flag ever created. Too bad our forefathers didn't co-opt that from India before the Nazis got their hands on it.

Tricentennial circle.
Love a fountain. Europe has beautiful ones. New Orleans can't keep one working.
Oh joy.

Meanwhile, a U.S. flag will be placed at the site where the statue of Confederate President Jefferson Davis stood until it was removed last week, the city said.
Interesting choice since slavery last longer under that flag than the CSA's flag, including 8 months AFTER Appomattox.

New Orleans can't pay the water bill.

How much is all this going to cost the city?
Posted on 5/19/17 at 6:28 am to Winkface
Priorities!

Landrieu said the last option -- focused on a fountain -- is what he sees as the best choice. "It represents Katrina," he said. "It represents water as a life-giving force. It represents light. It represents aspiration and creates something that's worthy of Paris and worthy of New Orleans." But, he said, that will cost money, possibly $10 million to $15 million. "Where are we going to get the money from?" Landrieu said. "Maybe we can put some public money up if everybody doesn't yell and scream about 'You ought to be filling potholes with that money.'

Take the column down, make a large pond with a Higgins boat in the center. That makes sense.

Uh, I hate to be the one to break it to this dumbass, but in Katrina, water was the exact opposite of a "life-giving force".
This guy has really lost it. Somebody should really start looking for ways to have him removed from office. He's not mentally fit to govern.
