Most likely outcome IMO
Quite plausible I think:
Comey memo exists
Comey memo is credible
Trump says it didn't "happen like Comey describes"
Comey firing deemed suspicious but appropriately papered
More shady Russia shite found with Trump associates
None of the Russia shite really connects to Trump
But Trump looks pretty stupid and very much ill suited for POTUS
Not impeached
Trump diminished
In such a scenario, I'm sure there will (or should be) blowback on media. But the Comey memo reporting could be 100% true, but something we ultimately decide we have to live with.
