shite like this really makes me want to pay more attention to my checking account.
I would obviously notice big charges, but honestly it'd be hard to catch little charges here and there.

Mastercard always catches shite before I even notice. They put a hold on my card and then call me.
Last time was me buying McDonald's in BR, while someone was trying to buy a TV in Charlotte. They froze the card and called me right after I was done eating

I used an outside ATM here in Douala once and it happened to be on the same morning as my monthly salary was deposited. In less than an hour the card number had been sold and almost $10k charged out my account. That was the last time I used an outside ATM anywhere.
