4K for alarm pre wire is highway robbery.
Most systems nowadays including ADT have wireless options.
Tell that builder to go frick himself.
When I built homes I would charge $300 to pre wire alarms.

Can you elaborate? Is that with all materials (contacts included) and labor? Small house? Big house? That seems REALLY cheap. Just want to know what I should be aiming for when I go try to find my own guy to do it.
