speed queen is the way to go. Sadly fifteen years ago all Washers were built with great quality. Dryers don't matter as much as they are almost all the same.

I drug my 3 year old LG to the street Saturday with a sign on it that said" I still work, free to a good home". This was after I installed my brand new Speedqueen I ordered from AJ Madison. $879 for the machine. No tax, free delivery. Took 12 days to come in. I did most of this based on the recommendations of what I read on here. It is a freaking beast. My wife would have to babysit the LG waiting on the UE code.. no more. I could not recommend the Speedqueen more.

What brand of washer do you generally recommend besides speed queen?
