We stayed at that very resort last October. (It was kind of a disappointment, btw...) Anyway, they had warnings re: Zika everywhere and sprays for guests to use, etc. The only time mosquitoes got us was when we went on a day trip away from the resort (which was the highlight of the trip in spite of the mosquitoes), but there were several people we met from Europe that had huge welts on them. We tried for a couple of days to figure out what type of disease these people must have to cause the enormous welts. Turns out it was mosquito bites they had gotten there. I'm not sure if it's because they haven't had as much exposure to mosquitoes as we've had in Louisiana or what. But they were enormous welts.
Enjoy your trip. Ha. Just kidding (not about what I wrote above- that's all true).
In closing, knowing a bit about Zika and mosquitoes and having stayed at this resort seven months ago, i'd probably not go. Sorry. I know it's disappointing and inconvenient to have to rearrange or delay travel plans.
