When S.Korea says we can. You know, the folks with 3 million people within 10 miles of N. Korea. I'd say they have final say so.

Sorry I missed this yesterday due to Mother's Day. I rarely post, but thought you might find this link helpful for perspective. It's rather simple, pretty much a cliff notes on how it might play out.

LINK /

The secondary thing I disagree with is their painting the South troops as unprepared for an insurgency scenario. The ROK troops, and ROK Marines in particular, are the toughest, most resilient and resourceful soldiers I ever encountered while serving in our beloved USMC. Think Asian Israeli Special Forces/ Viet Cong with technology. They know who they face, and what they're capable of.

The main thing they completely neglect is the humanitarian crisis that would ensue, which in my opinion is the largest consideration that has kept us in the sad state we've been in since the "truce". We would need an unimaginable response ready to avoid deaths x millions.

Peace to all, and wisdom to our leaders.

Why do we need to bomb NK? Do you really think the little, fat princeling wants to ruin a gig where he can frick or kill anyone he wants? But if we decide to take it away, maybe then, backed into a corner, he acts out and a bunch of people in SK die. Interventionism has really worked out well for us the past 70 years.

If the Chinese are ok with it. Today would be good.

I can understand your perspective... from over here.

Now join me... over there.

Your neighbor is a psychotic lunatic that constantly threatens our families, but you live next door to him, while I am relatively safe miles away.

I have intervened on your behalf numerous times, to keep him in check. Sometimes even when you wished I might not.

He now has dynamite, sets it off regularly, and increasingly threatens to blow all of us up, even if it means himself, too.

And while he is an isolationist/hermit, he also has powerful "friends" who find his insane antics useful at times. Because they like to keep their options open when it comes to you and me.

But maybe they are starting to realize we're tired of f-ing around with the little bastard, and that is constricting their options.

I hope they do what they usually do. Calculate risk vs reward, and shut him down for a few yrs.

We won't overtly bomb them unless we think we can take out all their stuff before they can use it on SK, and many have stated we can't.

I think what's most likely is a decapitation strike that would lead to collapse.

This is a little antiquated, but still useful as far as ROK considerations.

I don't know when exactly it will happen, but CNN is going to fricking hate it when it does.

Trump needs to announce no military action will be taken against NK. CNN destroys the idea. Then take action against NK. CNN destroys the move. Make video of CNNs hypocrisy. Everyone sees (as always) CNNs job is to criticize trump, only fox mentions it.
