Thank you everyone for your kind words. My family is currently dealing with it with my grandmother. She's someone I spent countless hours and days with growing up, so it's just hard to witness, like it is for everyone who is touched by it. The decline has become faster and more noticible over the last year or so, and with it being Mother's Day, it just kind of hits me.

My prayers are with everyone touched by this terrible disease.

my grandmother was the coolest cat you'd ever want to meet
strong, smart, smooth

watching her turn into an infant was sad at first but as it went on and on it just became demoralizing. If there was ever one person in this world who 100% would have chosen not to live her last years like that it was her

it's not going to happen to me because I won't allow it
