Ransomware Virus going around

Just received a company wide email of a new Ransomware Virus making its way around the world.

Backing up Network Elements suck.

Anyone else dealing with this?

From the screen caps it looks like Microsoft Windows XP.

Edit: We are trying to figure out the origination now.

I think Microsoft is sending out shite to kill XP. I've had 2 machines that run XP both die within week of each other with the same exact issue.
