re: anybody here ever live on a houseboat or sailboat long term?

I know another guy down the way from me that lives in a sailboat now. He's a single, older, off-the-grid type that paints for cash. He has a lot of freedom. It's not for everyone; but some mornings I'm jealous of them when I have to go to work...
