Well ... I agree, and only in Louisiana do we come up with "crazy enough to work" master plans.


So, I cannot join the "Ed's got this / no worries" crowd.



I ain't worried ... but, mainly just because I really don't give much of a rat's arse anymore.



It is rare when people completely unqualified for a job ... actually end up succeeding at a high level.

Dabo Sweeney at Clemson was a similar hire. I never wanted coach O to get the job, but its feasible his career could go the same route as Dabo's.
i think we can all agree Les Miles was finally exhausting the capital won by the national championships and was tanking the program. Coach O should be a step up at worst. If he can continue to recruit at a high level, and no more handcuffing the offense- not to mention actually having an innovative offensive plan. Matched with Aranda's Defense, it could work.
