Is it? You have multiple posts in late March where you express disappointment with the team, coaching decisions, and PM specifically. All sarcasm?

Multiple. Yeah 3. Two on the sec rant. One is sarcasm the other is right after a loss and one is true I don't like the team.

Holy shite.

Smoke left him a roster with Buzzy Haydel as a starter... Mainieri had that team back in Omaha in his 2nd year. Won it the next year.

anomaly.

Smoke also left him Jared Mitchell, Blake Dean, Ochinko and Schimpf.

Anomaly. Since the championship Mainieri has been to Omaha twice...... TWICE. That should be unacceptable for LSU baseball.

Yes.

Is it an anomaly that LSU currently has the longest active national seed streak?

Mainieri is no Skip, but to argue that he hasn't been successful is a joke.

Which is more of a knock on Mainieri for getting that streak and rarely getting to Omaha.

Since 2012, there haven't been many teams that have made it to Omaha more than twice.

The biggest mistake LSU fans make is thinking we should be dominating like the 90's. That WILL never happen for any program ever again. Should Mainieri have at least made a CWS final in that stretch? Hell yes, but stop fricking comparing him to Skip, it makes you look like a fool.

i guess this will never go away no matter how many times i debunk it. a national seed is NOT an accomplishment. well, if you think it is, that explains your perspective on the state of the team.

there is a degree of success that is commensurate for lsu and pm has demonstrably NOT reached that.

What exactly is a degree of success commensurate with LSU baseball? 5 CWS titles in 10 years?

We're waaaaaaaaay past comparing him to Skip. He's driving the fricking program off of a cliff right now with his laziness. Then he's being a bitch about like with the "eating crow" comment a few weeks ago. Hell, I'd even take the 2 Omaha appearances if Mainieri didn't look like an unprepared fool both times.

Humor me, what should LSU fan's be expecting?

Had Mainieri won a title in 2013 or 15 (which he should have in one of those years), he would be considered one of the game's best coaches.

if you take away '09, mainieri BARELY squeaks into the top 10 in cws wins. why are you ok with that?

same old strawman

lsu should be second to NO ONE, especially over a 7 year period as long as the budget continues to be at the top. that has absolutely NOT happened.

How is that a strawman when you post stupid shite like this IN THE SAME POST?

THERE IT IS. i wondered how long it would take for an apologist to trot out the old strawman.

over the last 7 seasons, there are 8 programs who have better cws records than lsu. why are you ok with that?

It was a question. Can you answer it? What is a level of success commensurate with LSU baseball?

And I'm the one using a straw an argument? Wow
