I would think there is more than caulk/silicone holding it in place.
I know in my bathroom undermount sink there are brackets that slid into grooves the installer cut in the granite.
I'm the kitchen the sink is sandwiched betetween the plywood deck and the granite on top.
What makes you think it is coming apart?
