Just give me some good offense this year damnit

agreed. Hell, Ohio State won it all with a 3rd string QB. Bama made it to the playoffs with Blake Sims and won it all with Jake Coker.

We don't need Joe Montana under center. With a new offensive scheme that gets the ball to our playmakers and is unpredictable, we can go far with merely competent QB play.

I think this coaching staff has the ability to blow out inferior competition whereas under Miles we played down to opponents and games ended closer than they should have been.

But it is more than just Etling as a weak link on offense. This WR core is probably the least experienced group outside of the 2014 team after OBJ and Landry left early. We have no all conference OTs on this roster and very few tackles at all.

So yes, Etling isn't going to take over a game but our weapons outside of Guice at RB on offense are weaker than most years.
