I just love that people always forget that we were top 5 for most of 2015 and started their last year. If you're mentioned up their at any point you are NOT irrelevant. Period.
Yes it didn't finish how we started but most never get there at all.

LSU still has to deal with the poor QB recruiting by Miles for one more year. I doubt we can get as lucky as Bama did with Jalen Hurts.

1. In today's college football, polls, especially pre-season polls, are irrelevant. Polls are a relic from 30 years ago. SEC standings and playoff committee rankings are all that truly matter.
2. We were a fraud in 2015. Our first 7 games were very weak and that's why we rose so high in the polls. When we played the meat of our schedule in November, we got torched 3 weeks in a row.
Polls don't matter. Just win, and at the end of the season it will all be clear.
