Pretty sure Joe Montana would "struggle mightily" if he had to play behind a line that performed as poorly as the one Etling had that night. Having zero time or space to look downfield and step up in the pocket can make even the best QBs look mediocre.
Botton line, Offense will still struggle at times because of this. It's going to be the SOS with OL inconsistency and mental breakdowns.
Last shot here for Grimes to show that he can coach and make this bunch productive. Hope that he does it, but I don't see it happening.............

Grimes did well last year minus the bama game. And no Oline did very select against them. We return our T's which should mean improvement. We lose a great C but clapp won't be a big drop off imo. I hope etlings back improves and he throws

I was hoping he was replaced. Been too little production for too long.
