as of now on gdax, there is an equal amount of intrinsic resistance for bitcoin between 8500 -> 6000 as there is 8500 -> 12,000 (about 46m USD).
12k being the tipping point many agree is the critical level to break to signify a true recovery towards ATH.
ETH still looks very oversold, there are just some key walls pinging it still. About 5000 ETH to chew through to 600.
For perspectives sake, there is relatively little resistance for ETH to return to high levels compared to BTC. Only 33m USD just to get to 1000/eth again. Assuming ETH grows at at least a comparable rate to BTC (it has been growing faster than BTC the past few days), it will rocket past 1000 if BTC breaks 12k. Good chance we see 0.1 ETH/BTC again if the market is truly healthy. But if the markets contract again, ETH could drop to 400 pretty easily.

We are about to boom and there are many FOMO’s with burnt fingers. Those that HODL and continue to long term will see very healthy crypfolios IMO, starting in mid to late current year

If ETH hits 1000 I'll be really tempted to sell a bunch and try to buy back in at 600. But then again, what if it never drops again?

1000 isnt the price target you should be looking at imo if we go on a run, 1200 is. See what the resistance at 1200 does. If eth/btc close above 1200/12k respectively, we're going higher before we go lower.

Watching ETH explode like ........

I see we crossed into 600. Next target is 750, then the 900 pressure after that.

So you think $12k is the mark for BTC? And if it passes that, I might as well keep holding on for a bit?

12k is the historic resistance point. The psychological factor of closing above 12k will cause some buying.

I'm not seeing it, at least not on the BTC pairing. It's up a bit from when I posted that, but it's nothing staggering.

It was $4 when I posted. Saw it for a second looks like it dropped a bit

OCN is going to moon soon imo

Nah, OCN (Odyssey). It's a dumb hype machine that Justin Sun of Tron is in on.

BTC rebounded off the 9k resistance. We may enter a consolidation phase after the run we've been on before continuing up. Volume isn't as high as I'd like it to be.
ICX is on a nice run and nearing $4 again.

When I get home, I'm going to learn how the hell IDEX works and get CPC and RFR.

So btc broke the 9k mark.
Cointelegraph folks believe btc will remain range-bound in the medium-term between 6k-12k.
That is an insane amount of volitility to maintain and I can't believe it will do that very long. If true, then that may be the actual onus for a fliplening.
