I've had reheated frozen jambalaya only once. It was nasty.

It must have been nasty to start with. I find jambalaya freezes well and heats up fine in the microwave. OTOH, I hate reheated chicken, steak, and other meats prepared as standalone items. There's just no good way to reheat them. I'll eat them cold or sometimes let them come to room temperature.

I do it fairly often.... microwave is fine after it thaws, but the best way to do it is to heat some chicken stock in a pot then add the jam to it... cover on low... stir occassionally until its warm enough to eat.

Agreed. I've never done anything special to heat up frozen jambalaya. Always just microwaved it and it comes out good.
