Pretty damn well.

Really happy for him. I've always appreciated the way he has carried himself as a man. Didn't bitch and complain, just went with the opportunities that were there for him and made the most of it.

He's a special teams stud and 4th/5th receiver, carved out a nice niche role and is making great money. Dude was a beast ST player at LSU.

If there was a jury trial for coaching negligence against Les Miles, this would be Exhibit A

Explain how it was negligence by Les Miles. Miles used him in the exact same role that he has made a living in the NFL. ST stud and occasional WR.

In what way. Shep at QB means no special teams and he likely doesn't make the pros. Plus even after 4 years in the pros he's still a 4th receiver.
If anything it was Miles' strategy of putting his best athletes on special teams that is the main reason for Shep having a nice career.

Should have made more if he had anykind of useage in college. I believe he had the same skill set as Percy Harvin.

a guy worth $3+ mill a year not good enough to play full time in college?
Looks like I tugged on those old rantard pro-Miles heart strings here. Forget the Shep evidence then. Show me Miles new coaching contract
***** crickets *****

Considering his skill set I think he's right about where he should be. Very agile kid but not very fast, didn't run great routes and didn't have great hands.

Really happy for him. The way he took what life had given him and made the best out of it is inspiring.
His senior day entrance will always be a favorite memory of mine.

Looks like playing wr and st at LSU was a good move for him.

While he was sitting out 4 games from an NCAA suspension. Odell Beckham took his spot. You know, the guy that is actually a better wr than him.
I remember when James Wright caught 2 passes in one game and everyone claimed his talent was wasted. He caught like one more pass and never matched his numbers at LSU.

If I remember correctly, Shep wanted to play QB so Miles gave him a shot and he couldn't hack it. Then we tried him at RB and he couldn't crack the starting lineup. Switched to WR, and he was the 3rd best option at best. Gave him a chance at a Kick returner and he still wasn't the best we had.
What more should Miles have done? Tell me who to bench to get this kid some PT

Then why hasn't he shown that in the NFL? Did he get worse or something? It's 2017, you'd think that would be long enough to show your ability and get paid on that second contract.
