How so? NFL draft is all about your ability and how it projects to the league, not about what numbers you put up in college. Unless Canada is some WR guru that would drastically change how Dupre catches and runs routes, whatever elevated numbers he would put up next year wouldn't make him a better candidate to be drafted

It's about potential, but what you've been able to do and your production against competition counts for a lot also. Partially how they decide where you project in the NFL. A lot fast guys and great athletes don't make in the NFL. Another year with a different offense l, respectable play calling, and adequate QB, could have made a big difference for Chi. With a good year of production, He could have at worst been drafted in 3-4 round instead of late 7th.
