Anyone watched this series? I started watching thinking it would be along the lines of Caddyshack being it takes place at a Golf club, but it has surprised me.
The main character is a young man who is struggling to figure out his future while working as an assistant tennis pro at an exclusive club. The entire series is set in the 80's and has a cool soundtrack. Paul Reisner's role as the golf club president and stock broker is especially good. It's more of a comedy drama, but worth the watch.
I watched all 2 seasons (18) episodes in 2 days.
The third and final season will air later this year.

It's well written. I was thinking it would probably be more about teen hi jinx, but it turned into much more.

I must be watching a different Red Oaks, because there is very little nudity and usually only a quick glimpse of a boob?

I will chime in here just as I do for every Red Oaks thread because I really like it.

1st season was fantastic.
2nd season was pretty good but not on 1st season's level.
Hope the 3rd ends well!

I don't think Wheeler and Misty could end up together In any world that isn't fictional.

Both seasons were great. The dad (not Paul reiser) is an interesting tragic character in the series. His scenes in season 2 were really good.
Oh and.
Oh and.

For some reason, Seth Meyers' brother cracks me up in this show. Creepy, but funny.

Oh shite. As soon I read that, I immediately knew which character. And he is fricking hilarious in the show.

I'm going to start this soon, maybe tonight. Ive seen on on amazon but didn't think much of it. Seems like I would like it based on this thread.

I'm about half way through the second season. I like it. Lots of great 80s references and the tennis attire is spot on.

Richard Kind and Paul Reiser kill it in every scene.
It's a great show. The characters are very relatable and fun to watch and grow with.
