Not to get too off topic, but Simmons didn't lose his show because of the politics. He lost his show because it wasn't good in any aspect.

I have HBO and was a huge Simmons fanboi I didn't watch it because of his politics and I know another baw who did the same.
Simmons' audience has shrunk considerably and he has a decent amount of alt right trolls who attack his every tweet. Def. didn't use to be the case.

Premium Cable can't really do sports talk- look at all the failed attempts.
