Yeah, I'm sure a team like the Bears would be all over that, having to field an entire team from dudes that went to fricking Northwestern and Illinois. Dumb idea.

Y'know, I took a minute to think about this from a non-drafted players aspect, and it still doesn't work.
Every season, a lot of NFL teams add a couple undrafted rookies, at least to the practice squad, and quite a bit make the regular roster. The Saints do it regularly.
When you look at these guys, most aren't local. They just happened to be the best fits at certain places. LSU players not drafted usually aren't at the positions the Saints can add depth to.
